Berthe Morisot’s House 1 Avenue de la Drionne This house is currently a medical centre. When Berthe Morisot lived here, her garden (see picture) stretched as far as the Drionne. La Garenne 1 Rue de la Croix aux Vents The author Turgenev and his friends, the Viardots lived in this 18th century villa before moving to Fresnes. Lucy Arbell, opera singer and daughter of Edward Wallace spent many years there before bequeathing it to the Orphelinat des Arts in 1947. Nowadays, it is a private property.
